Ballincollig Trailblazers Women’s Mixed Ability

Ballincollig Trailblazers are the first Women’s Mixed Ability Rugby Team in Ireland.

Inspired by the Sundays Well Rebels, we saw a gap in female sports and took an opportunity to create the first ladies mixed ability rugby team. We believe in the ethos of mixed ability and how it can change society so naturally. We have created the same space for women as we have witnessed from the Rebels. A space of equality, genuine sportsmanship, competition, relationships, and social outlets that are not restricted to one’s ability.

The Trailblazers proudly represented Munster and Ireland at the International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament (IMART) World Cup which took place at Musgrave Park between June 2022.

Training in Tanner Park every Thursday @ 7pm.
