Ballincollig started well with a try in the first 5 minutes by James Petterson. Fermoy came back and scored 2 trys to take the lead going in at half time. Through great work from the forwards, James Petterson got over the line for his second try early in the second half. Ballincollig backs and forwards combined well and Tiernan Quinn scored a try to put Ballincollig back in front. With great breaks from the backs especially Sam Kiely and Liam Fahy, we were unlucky not to score another try. Fermoy got a late try against the run of play to steal the match. A fantastic performance from the whole squad and we look forward to facing Muskerry next week in Tanner Park.
