Weekend 16th February 2013 Match Reports

U12s Blitz

Ballincollig U12’s welcomed two Highfield and one Sunday’s Well teams to Tanner Park last Saturday. First up was a closely fought contest against Highfield ending in a draw. Ballincollig then played the second Highfield team but were much too strong for them and ran out convincing winners. Last up were a strong Sunday’s Well team, but by now Ballincollig had really found their best form and were comfortable winners in the end. Months of training came together for the U12’s last Saturday and they gave a fantastic display of tackling, rucking, passing and running. Most of all though, they gave a fantastic Team display.

U17s Tour to Wales

Last weekend, the U17 team headed off on their tour to Wales.  On Saturday they took on St. Peter’s of Cardiff and later that evening headed to Parc Y Scarlets to watch Munster play Scarlets.  They met up with some of the Munster players after the match and great weekend was had by all.  Looking forward to next year’s trip aleady.
